CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) can help you assess whether your organization should seek a new funding opportunity, and if there are any capacity gaps that need to be addressed prior to receiving a grant.
What’s on your mind?
- Does my organization have qualified personnel in place to manage a grant?
- What policies and procedures will be required for a grant?
- Are there compliance requirements that we need to be aware of for a grant opportunity?
Experience our client-focused approach
There are many components to consider when assessing whether a grant opportunity is right for your organization, some of which may not even be on your radar.
Our professionals have experience serving grant applicants and recipients, including nonprofits, higher education institutions, and state and local governments. We work with you to understand the current state of your organization as it relates to grant management, and then compare your organization to the grant’s requirements to efficiently and effectively maintain the granting opportunity.
Readiness, gap, and capacity assessments
After meeting with key personnel in your organization and gathering related documents, we will perform and document a readiness or gap assessment to help you identify opportunities for improvement, should your organization be awarded a grant. We will focus on compliance areas and processes related to federal grants; these standards will meet or exceed a typical state or other governmental funding source. Our assessment is also intended to help you reduce the likelihood of receiving a finding during a single audit.
