Overview
Lisa Stover, CPA, CGMA is the Regional Managing Principal of the Northeast. In addition, she serves clients as a consulting CFO. Lisa has worked exclusively with not-for-profit organizations for over 20 years. Lisa has comprehensive knowledge of all areas of not-for-profit accounting including audit, regulation, accounting services, and consulting. She has a wealth of experience developing accounting policies and procedures manuals, managing large finance and administration teams, finance and accounting system assessments, and implementation of technical accounting standards. She also specializes in developing budget and forecast procedures that lead to organization wide budget-accountability and assisting Board members in reading and understanding financial statements. Lisa is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA). She is also the Finance Committee Chair for the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
Outside of work, Lisa is an active mom of two wonderful girls and an animal lover with 2 rescue cats and 2 rescue dogs.
