Does your manufacturing business accept Visa or Mastercard? If so, you may be able to get part of a recent $5.5 billion settlement.
Earlier this year, Visa and Mastercard settled a lawsuit on excessive fees. Any business that accepted Visa or Mastercard between January 1, 2004 and January 25, 2019 can apply to receive a share of the fees.
There's now more time to file — the deadline was recently extended to February 4, 2025. Read on to learn how to file.
How does it work?
Qualifying businesses will share in the settlement fund of $5.54 billion, pro rata based on all claims filed. Specific amounts will not be known until all claims are received and processed.
How do you file?
All claims are processed at paymentcardsettlement.com and must be filed by February 4, 2025. Payment will likely take a long time.
