Accounting and Professional Services firm continues focus on inspired careers
Minneapolis, MN – Jan. 9, 2025 – This week, CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP) announced new roles and changes to the firm’s regional and local leadership across the country. The changes are part of CLA’s commitment to inspired careers, elevating individuals into positions of increasing responsibility, while providing opportunities to gain additional experience across industries and services.

These leadership changes reflect our commitment to growth, relevance, and impeccable client service, supported by a deep bench of leaders nationwide who bring versatility and fresh perspectives to diverse roles.”
One of the more significant updates is bringing together the Eastern Midwest region, which includes offices in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and more, into the Midwest region, which includes offices in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa, to name a few. Melissa Yoder, who has been the Regional Managing Principal (RMP) of the Eastern Midwest region, will assume leadership of the expanded Midwest region. Josh Enger, previously RMP of the Midwest, was named Chief Outsourcing Officer last week.
Other changes announced this week include:
- Jill Bosco was named the Managing Principal (MPO) of the Massachusetts offices. Bosco, who previously served as Chief Tax Officer, assumes this new role as part of CLA’s dedication to providing diverse leadership opportunities.
- Elly Barrineau, who recently served as Chief Consulting and Outsourcing Officer, has been named the MPO of the North Carolina offices. Her extensive experience in leading the firm's consulting and outsourcing services positions her perfectly to drive success and innovation in this growing region.
- Beth Knight has been named managing director of CLA’s newly formed Meetings, Events and Experience Team (MEET). This new function within CLA is part of the firm’s announced opening of three new Connections Centers in 2025. Knight, who has served as managing director of learning and development, takes on this new role designed to coordinate logistics, assess needs and create memorable moments, turning gatherings into impactful opportunities.

- Mary Short has been named managing principal of the Sacramento office.
- Nicola Bain has been named managing principal of the New Jersey/New York Metro office.
- Lance Schmidt has been named managing principal of the Orlando office.
- Alina Mizerniuc has been named managing principal of the Southwest Florida office.
- Jason Carroll has been named managing principal of the Rocky Mountain offices (Denver and Utah).
- Jerry McMillon has been named managing principal of North Texas offices.
- Jeff Bonick has been named managing principal of value creation.
- Tommy Jenson has been named managing principal of technology.
- Dan Resnick has been named managing principal of IT and cyber.
- Chris Stanz has been named managing principal of quality.
- Trey Sturtevant has been named managing principal of The Spoke.
All roles went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025.
