Overview
Jay has over 20 years of experience in public accounting working primarily with closely held businesses and their owners. His main focus and enjoyment comes from working with clients in the industry of construction. His practice spans the U.S. and includes numerous entities who participate in programs sponsored by the Small Business Association, such as those who take part in the 8(a) Business Development Program, veteran and disabled veteran owned businesses, woman owned businesses and other contractors who conduct business with the federal government - many of these clients have a large multi-state component to their operations.
He understands the first step in becoming a "trusted advisor" is gaining the trust of his clients. He achieves this by using his diverse experience to obtain a deep understanding of his clients' business structure, which allows him to identify their financial strengths and weaknesses. Combining this knowledge with both their business and personal goals, he develops real-world solutions that his clients are able to execute with the resources available to them.
