Overview

Manny has in-depth Alternative Asset, Real Estate and Family Office Tax & Advisory experience with deep transactional experience with US inbound tax and accounting structuring. Manny works closely with US and Offshore based capital sources to optimize the economics associated with the direct or indirect investment in US real estate and private equity joint ventures.
Manny directs all aspects of an advisory and tax consulting practice unit, including business development, staff development, financial management and ongoing client relationship management.
Provide tax consulting, structuring and compliance services to a broad range of clients including: public and private REITs, residential and commercial real estate developers; real estate opportunity and private equity funds; and manufacturing, distribution and high tech companies.
Perform creative transaction structuring for Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, REITs and S-Corporations.
Expertise in structuring the optimal organizational structure for inbound investments in U.S. trade or business' with a focus on investment in U.S. Real Property (FIRPTA issues) from an acquisition, operational and disposition perspective.
Expertise in structuring partnership roll-ups, disguised sale strategies, Section 704(c) planning, and addressing and resolving partnership income and debt allocation issues.
Consult with clients on the identification and implementation of optimal tax accounting methods and periods as they relate to revenue recognition and expense acceleration techniques (including 263A and 174 capitalization minimization analysis and documentation).
