Mitch has six years of experience in public accounting and works exclusively with nonprofits including arts, social service, religious, foundations, and member-based organizations providing audit, tax, and consulting services.

Technical experience includes:

  • Assurance related services for nonprofit entities including planning, risk assessment procedures, evaluating internal control, substantive testing, analytical procedures, and financial statement disclosures.
  • Tax related services for nonprofit entities including preparing Form 990 Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax returns, preparing Form 990-T Exempt Organization Busines Income Tax returns, and researching client specific questions regarding various tax positions.
  • Consulting related services for nonprofit entities including evaluating internal control policies, maintaining depreciation schedules, preparing financial statements, and implementing and customizing accounting softwares.
