Overview
Trey Sturtevant has over nineteen years of experience devoted exclusively to the health care industry. Professionally, he specializes in serving providers across all sub-industries of health care with a focus on strategic reimbursement issues.
Trey joined CLA in 2000 as a consultant serving physicians and medical practices in the areas of practice assessments, revenue cycle improvement projects, and medical record coding and documentation reviews. This led to opportunities to become involved in the development of medical staff development plans for hospitals and health systems and their communities.
Having worked with medical practices, hospitals, and health systems for several years, it was the opportunity to work on Medicare and Medicaid cost reports that allowed him to find his true passion for serving health care organizations. Since 2005, Trey has focused the vast majority of his time serving hospitals and health systems, nursing homes, home health agencies, hospices, and clinics (including rural health clinics and federally qualified health centers) in the area of third party reimbursement. He possesses a thorough understanding of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and has significant expertise in Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting.
