Kelli Roberts

Overview

Currently, Kelli Roberts serves as the Managing Partner of the Triad, NC Office.  She also continues supporting clients as a CLA CAST Client Leader.  CLA's Consulting and Accounting Solutions Team (CAST) has experienced CPAs, consultants, and other professionals who serve clients of varying size and complexity including Fortune 100 companies, closely held businesses, startups, and non-profit organizations.  CAST works closely with client executive leadership to understand their strategic priorities and actively engage in problem solving.  Specifically, we come alongside our clients during times of change to help manage through volatility, peak workload issues, special projects, or workforce challenges via interim role solutions. 

Kelli possesses a unique ability to relate to her clients having over 25 years’ experience; she brings a multi-faceted finance and accounting background to CLA, including financial planning and analysis, corporate accounting, and a strong audit and internal controls background.  Additionally, Kelli has served in a client service capacity with a national firm, serving markets throughout the southeast. 

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Emory University, Kelli began her career at a Big 6 firm in Atlanta during which time she became a certified public accountant in Georgia.  She then moved into a variety of progressive roles at Cox Enterprises, Pepsi, and Hanesbrands where she initially managed the first year SOX implementation after the $6 billion spin-off from Sara Lee along with other consultative-type audit and compliance engagements. 

Over the years, Kelli has been an active leader in the community, working with various organizations including the French Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Black Accountants, United Way through the Young Leaders United group, the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce’s young professional’s steering committee, and most recently the North Carolina Association of CPA’s Foundation.
