Overview
In her role, Jessie is responsible for leading the firm's campus recruitment strategy across the United States. This strategy aims to establish, nurture, and maintain impactful relationships with Colleges and Universities. The goal is to build awareness about CLA's professional services opportunities, educate University leaders, faculty, and students about accounting profession trends, and identify potential future family members who share CLA's purpose of creating opportunities for our clients, our people, and our communities. The CLA campus strategy also includes educating high school students about the accounting industry and providing distinctive internship programs. Jessie is passionate about helping students find their inspired careers where they can be their authentic selves.
Jessie has spent her entire career of 18 years with CLA, starting as an assurance intern. Before her current role, Jessie was a Principal, providing assurance, tax, and consulting services to non-public entities, including software, technology, manufacturing entities, and other emerging growth organizations. Her focus areas included revenue recognition, capitalized software development costs, stock-based compensation, inventory management, and a variety of other accounting issues.
