Overview
With more than 15 years of experience, Jon provides fund administration, accounting, and consulting services to private equity, real estate, and venture capital funds executing on a variety of investment strategies.
Jon specializes in review of governing and investment documents and enjoys helping clients navigate complex language within their LPAs.
Prior to CLA, Jon co-led the Minneapolis office of a boutique fund administration firm. Before working in outsourced fund administration, Jon worked as the Senior Manager of Operations for a Minnesota based registered investment advisor focused on special situations and distressed investments which had over $8 billion in assets under management at its peak. In his role as the Senior Manager of Operations, Jon became well-versed in the review of governing documents and agreements (LPAs and LLC agreements, investment agreements including credit agreements, purchase and sale agreements, assignment agreements, plans of reorganization and disclosure statements, etc), the settlement of public and private transactions, and the requirements of treasury, compliance, and other back and middle-office functions.
