Overview
Carey provides tax services with an emphasis in tax credits and incentives. After working for a Big Four firm, Carey joined CLA and focused his expertise on issues related to the taxation of closely held businesses and pass through entities. He is experienced in multistate taxation, entity formation and dissolution, and mergers and acquisitions.
Carey also uses his tax expertise to advise CLA's clients through tax controversy, private letter rulings, complex transactions and tax minimization strategies. He is experienced in a wide variety of industries, but specializes in professional services, healthcare, construction, and manufacturing.
