Overview
John is a senior with the financial services group and has been working with financial institutions since 2021. John specializes in various engagements in external and internal auditing, consulting, and internal control.
John has industry focused experience completing certified audits for community banks and financial institutions through their entirety from the planning process through issuance. John also specializes in opining on the internal control over financial reporting for banks over the $1 billion threshold.
John also focuses on performing consulting engagements surrounding the asset/liability management and the current expected credit losses (CECL) models for financial institutions and applies interagency guidance to help inform, advise, and advance financial institutions.
Education
John graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a BS in Business and majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems.
