Seramount Names CLA a 2024 Top 80 Company for Executive Women

The data shows continued support for the advancement of women at the top levels of corporate leadership

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen LLP), a top 10 U.S. accounting firm and one of the country's leading professional services firms, was named to Seramount’s 2024 Top 80 Companies for Executive Women list today. Seramount continues to explore ways organizations can move more women into top executive roles by highlighting the successes at these trailblazing companies.  
 
This is the most definitive list of top workplaces for women advancing through the corporate ranks. It celebrates companies that champion women’s achievements, with a focus on succession planning, profit-and-loss roles, gender-pay parity, support, and flexibility programs.

The top 10 companies are (in alphabetical order) Bristol Myers Squibb, CSAA Insurance Group, Dechert, General Mills, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal USA, TD Bank, The Estée Lauder Companies, and Zoetis Inc.  
 
Highlights of the 2024 Top 80 Companies for Executive Women:  

  • Women representation at the Top Companies has increased at the higher employee levels: 37% of corporate executives (the top two levels below CEO) are women, up from 35% the previous year; 47% of senior managers (one level below corporate executives) are women, up from 45%; and 51% of managers (one level below senior managers) are women, up from 50%. 
  • Promotions to these employee levels have also increased: 44% of promotions to corporate executive are women, up from 42% the previous year; 51% of promotions to senior manager are women, up from 47%; and 55% of promotions to manager are women, up from 54%. 
  • Forty-four percent of corporate executives who report directly to the CEO are women, up from 39% the previous year; 31% of executives who have P&L responsibility are women, up from 29%; and 37% of executives who report directly to the CEO and have P&L responsibility are women, up from 33%. 
  • Women representation in formal advancement programs has also increased, with 62% of mentees in formal mentoring programs being women, up from 60% the previous year; 65% of protégés in sponsorship programs are women, up from 57%; 58% of leadership development participants are women, up from 57%; and 46% of succession planning candidates are women, up from 45%.
