Oak Brook, Illinois — December 7, 2015 CliftonLarsonAllen is pleased to announce that Jessica Martin, CPA, tax manager in the Oak Brook, Illinois, office, has been named one of the 2015 "Top 10 Public Accounting Professional Rising Stars" in Illinois by the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals (NAPAP). The award is designed to recognize outstanding public accounting professionals who have been practicing for fewer than 15 years.

Martin provides tax consulting and compliance services for privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, with experience in manufacturing, software development, insurance, construction and real estate, and nonprofits. She has also served as a firm recruiter and as an in-house instructor, developing tax training materials and leading classroom learning sessions for new staff. She has served as a CCH ProSystems Tax Software champion, communicating and implementing best practices and software fixes.
“Top 10 Rising Stars” candidates are nominated by their peers or clients and are then evaluated and reviewed by the NAPAP board of governors. Selection criteria include education, years of experience, areas of expertise, certifications, publications, awards, leadership, and client satisfaction.
Martin holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in taxation from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.
